Plumbline’s positioning is built around regulated custodians and segregated customer funds rather than commingling customer assets with operating capital. The specific custodian relationship for an account or product will be identified in the applicable onboarding and account documents; a final custodian name is not published in this FAQ.

Is Plumbline covered by SIPC or FDIC insurance?

SIPC and FDIC are different protections, and coverage depends on the account, asset, and custodian involved. Plumbline is not representing that every balance or product is SIPC- or FDIC-insured. The applicable protection, limits, and exclusions will be disclosed in the final account and product documents; those terms are not yet published here.

What fees does Plumbline charge?

Which entities are eligible to open an account?

Accepted Answer

Plumbline’s current positioning uses LLCs and C-corps as examples of the businesses it is building for. The complete eligible-entity policy is not yet published. Eligibility may depend on the entity, jurisdiction, verification outcome, and product, so the onboarding team will confirm whether a particular business can open an account.

How does EIN-based onboarding work?

You provide the legal entity’s details and EIN, identify the people authorized to act for it, and complete KYC/AML and beneficial-ownership review. Once verified, the account is established for the entity rather than blended with a personal account. Plumbline shares the exact documentation and authorization steps during onboarding.

How long do ACH deposits and withdrawals take?

Plumbline has not published a guaranteed ACH deposit or withdrawal time. Actual timing can depend on the sending or receiving bank, cutoffs, verification, holds, weekends, and the asset being moved. Treat the timing as to be confirmed during onboarding rather than relying on a same-day or fixed-SLA promise.

How do I access private deals?

Plumbline curates private placements and reviews each opportunity for eligibility, accreditation requirements, and lock-up terms. Access is by operator request and allocation is not automatic; availability and eligibility are specific to the opportunity.
